We believe road crashes have significant impact on the lives of Ugandans. With so many accidents on our roads it is important to guard the consequences of these accidents to family members and loved ones of road crash victims. There is too much hardship and trauma left behind with a spouse or family member when someone is killed or injured in road accident
Corporate Organizations / Individuals
Membership of HOVITA is open to all organizations that support our aims. As an associate member you will be able to keep in touch with our work, as well as have access to our policy briefings.
How to Get Involved
Our members all share one thing in common; a desire to reduce danger on our roads, sadly often the shared experience of dealing with the devastation of road crash either through bereavement or serious injury. As a member ship organization it is our role to support and represent our members through our programs/activities.
If you or someone you know has been bereaved or seriously injured in a road crash, if you are concerned about road safety, please consider joining us today.
Your subscription helps fund our vital work, ensuring that we are able to continue supporting those bereaved or injured through road crash as well as campaigning for road danger reduction by donation, there is no fixed fee; please give what you can afford.
Your Membership
- Helps to fund our support services, including road trauma support services which help hundreds of families whose lives have been devastated through road crash or injury which make a real difference to people’s lives at time when they really need it.
- Fund our road safety campaign and advocacy.
- Support our legal Aid programs to fight for justice for those killed in road crashes. We believe that someone has been killed or seriously injured on our roads there should be a thorough investigation for justice to be done, so that any one blameworthy is held accountable. Help us stay independent. We receive no government funding so membership subscriptions are vital to support our programs.
- Help us set a vocational rehabilitation centre for our members and their families.
